The council made the announcement on Wednesday at its headquarters in Minna, Niger State. Recall that the exams had held in various schools across the country between 5th November and 28th December 2020.
NECO Registrar, Prof. Godswill Obioma disclosed that the success rate in last year’s examination stood at 73.89%. While giving the breakdown of the NECO 2020 results, he revealed that 984,101 candidates made at least five credits in subjects including English Language and Mathematics. According to Obioma, the figure represented a 2.3% increase compared to the 2019 June/July NECO SSCE results.

Obioma, however, stated that the affected candidates would be able to take the NECO examination between Monday February 1 and Wednesday March 3 2021.
